European Wellness Biomedical Group celebrated a monumental achievement today with the grand opening of its state-of-the-art facility in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The event was highlighted by the signing of a groundbreaking strategic cooperation agreement to establish a Regenerative Medicine and Health Complex in Sanya, Hainan, China.
The ceremony featured the signing of this pivotal agreement between Prof. Dato’ Sri Dr Mike Chan, Founder and Chairman of European Wellness Biomedical Group, and Mr. Fang Tie Ji, Chairman of Jilin Hanxing Group, a multi-billion-dollar conglomerate from Donggang City, Liaoning Province.
This strategic partnership between European Wellness Biomedical Pharma Group Limited and Jilin Hanxing Group outlines plans for a joint venture project to build a trinity complex of “medicine, beauty and health therapy” in Hainan. The complex is set to become a cornerstone in the wellness industry, combining cutting-edge regenerative medicine with comprehensive health and beauty treatments.
Fang, who also serves as a committee member of the Hainan Sanya economic advisory board of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, represents a significant ally in advancing global wellness initiatives.
The signing ceremony coincided with the grand opening of the European Wellness Premier Center, officiated by the Chief Minister of Sabah, YAB Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor in the presence of esteemed VIPs and dignitaries. Among the notable attendees were YB Senator Tan Sri Anifah Aman, Chairman of Invest Sabah Berhad; YB Datuk Joniston Bangkuai, Chairman of the Sabah Tourism Board; Tan Sri Abdul Majid Khan, Chairman of KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific; and Prof. Chan, who also serves as an advisor to KSI.
It also welcomed a notable delegation from China, Macau, and Hong Kong and advisor to the President of the UAE, Dr. Khalid Abdulla Mubarak, highlighting the international collaboration and interest in wellness initiatives that made the EW Premier Center launch such a great success.
Prof. Chan emphasized the importance of collaboration in achieving a shared vision for global health, while Fang expressed enthusiasm about the partnership’s potential to revolutionize wellness services.
This agreement is a key component of European Wellness’ ambitious global expansion strategy, which aims to increase its worldwide centers to 50 by year-end, including new locations in Naples, Florida, West Coast and South Korea by year end, and Tokyo, Japan by February 2025. The company’s growth plan emphasizes brand recognition and maintaining high service standards through substantial royalty fees for the European Wellness name.
European Wellness sets itself apart through personalized treatments and effective management practices. The new Premier Center in Kota Kinabalu exemplifies this approach with VIP treatment options and diverse facilities designed to enhance visitor experiences.
Given the estimated one year timeline for the Sanya facility to become fully operational, it may direct client referrals to its EW Premier Center in Sabah, particularly for high-profile individuals seeking specialized treatments. This arrangement further solidifies Sabah’s position as a key hub within the European Wellness Network, leveraging its status as the most well-equipped center in the network.
As the event concluded, attendees explored the newly opened wellness center in Kota Kinabalu, which aims to serve both the local community and international visitors, reinforcing Sabah’s emerging role as a global wellness destination.
This strategic cooperation marks a significant step in European Wellness’ Asian expansion strategy and promises to elevate the standards of regenerative medicine and wellness services on a global scale.
