KOTA KINABALU, Malaysia (Oct 19, 2024) — UAE Ambassador to Malaysia, His Excellency Dr. Mubarak Saeed AlDhaheri, visited the European Wellness Premier Centre in Kota Kinabalu on Saturday, October 19, marking the latest development in growing healthcare collaboration between the UAE and Malaysia.
The visit follows a series of high-level engagements, including an earlier visit by chief advisor to the ruler of UAE government, His Excellency Dr. Major General Khalid Mubarak Albuainain Almazrouie, who toured the facility when it first opened on August 22.
During the latest visit to the KK center, Dr. AlDhaheri was greeted by medical consultant Prof. Dr. Olha Nishkumai, as Prof. Mike Chan was still in Ecuador for a speaking tour on Saturday.
Dr. AlDhaheri, who began his diplomatic mission in Malaysia in July 2023, has been actively working to enhance UAE-Malaysia relations, particularly in healthcare, trade, and cultural diplomacy.
The ambassador’s focus on healthcare innovation is expected to yield fruitful results for both countries.
This diplomatic relationship has seen multiple interactions between UAE officials and Malaysian healthcare innovators since August 2024. Earlier in October, Dr. Khalid has facilitated Prof. Chan‘s visit to the UAE – marking a milestone in bilateral healthcare diplomacy.
As discussions between the UAE and European Wellness Biomedical Group continue, both Prof. Mike Chan and Dr. AlDhaheri are now at the forefront of global healthcare innovation, reinforcing their commitment to medical research and development.
The new European Wellness Premier Centre in Kota Kinabalu currently offers over 100 advanced bio-regenerative and holistic medical treatments. With all these high-level visits, it has quickly become a key player in Sabah’s growing medical wellness tourism sector since its opening in August.
This ongoing relationship signifies a shared vision for advancing global healthcare through international collaboration. It could pave the way for future advancements in regenerative medicine, potentially benefiting patients across Malaysia, UAE, and beyond.
