PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (Nov 26, 2024) – The Global Chinese Economic & Technology Summit (GCET) convened in Phnom Penh on Tuesday, drawing over 500 business leaders, policymakers, and experts from around the globe. The summit, themed “New Partnerships, New Opportunities in a New Era,” will serve as a platform for high-level discussions on economic growth, digital transformation, and sustainable development.
Prof. Dato’ Sri Dr. Mike Chan, a globally recognized leader in regenerative medicine and wellness, participated as a panelist in the Plenary Three session, where experts discussed the role of overseas Chinese entrepreneurs and investors in driving foreign direct investment. Prof. Mike Chan, who is also an advisor for the KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific, shared his insights on entrepreneurship, innovation, and the healthcare industry’s transformative potential in fostering regional growth.

Other notable panelists included Dr. Fan Gang, President of the China Development Institute, and Prof. Annie Koh, Professor Emeritus of Finance at Singapore Management University.
