As the leaders and policy-makers of the world begin shifting gears to improve economic recovery and address health challenges amidst COVID-19 and chronic health issues worldwide, it was only a matter of time before the interests of health and wellness brand European Wellness and the state government of Sabah, Malaysia, intersected.
In a momentous occasion earlier in January, Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor extended an invitation to European Wellness Chairman and Founder, Prof. Dato’ Sri Dr. Mike Chan, to discuss the role that the latter’s organisation has in improving overall healthcare quality within the state, expressing keen interest in promoting and investing in future and on-going projects. With the European Wellness facilities in Kota Kinabalu providing premium anti-aging and youth revitalisation treatments, in addition to training talented biomedical professionals and attracting patients from around the globe, there is little doubt that the sunny seaside capital of Sabah is turning into a hotspot of medical wellness tourism in Southeast Asia.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our beloved Sabah Chief Minister, YAB Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Noor, for your time and dedication in taking the state’s biomedical capabilities to the next level and helping to realise a shared vision of improving global health and wellness outcomes.
On the same note, Datuk Lucy Irene Wong, an influential figure in Sabah’s health sector, played a pivotal role in facilitating dialogue and cooperation between European Wellness and the state government, and we would like to convey our gratitude for making this meeting a success!
We are definitely looking forward to more collaborative efforts in the future!
