KOTA KINABALU, Malaysia (Nov 7, 2024) – Former supermodel and television personality Yolanda Hadid has returned to the European Wellness Premier Center in Kota Kinabalu for ongoing Lyme disease treatment. She expressed renewed hope for recovery and praised Prof. Mike Chan’s innovative stem cell therapy.
Hadid, known from the reality show “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” has been battling Lyme disease for 15 years, describing it as an “invisible illness.” She has shared her experience with this debilitating condition in her 2017 book, Believe Me: My Battle with the Invisible Disability of Lyme Disease.
During an interview at the center on Thursday (Nov 7), Hadid spoke highly of Prof. Chan’s treatment, saying,
I truly, in my heart to heart, feel that this is the future, and I wanna be part of the future,
referring to the stem cell therapy and peptides she’s receiving. She credits the treatment with restoring her energy and improving cognitive function, something she says she hasn’t felt in years.
In an earlier interview with Sorbet magazine, Hadid praised Prof. Mike Chan as “by far the best stem cell doctor,” crediting him with providing significant relief from the debilitating symptoms of Lyme disease through his targeted, organ-specific and brain-specific precursor stem cell treatments. In a follow-up Instagram post, she also expressed renewed optimism about overcoming the remaining challenges of her “15-year-long battle with the invisible disability of chronic neurological Lyme disease.”
Seeking hope and healing, she turned to Prof. Mike Chan at the European Wellness Center in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. This transformative journey has fueled her belief that Prof. Chan’s advanced stem cell therapy is key to her full recovery.
Yolanda said:
After years of struggling, I finally feel hope. Prof. Chan’s approach is revolutionary—targeting Lyme disease at its root rather than just treating symptoms.
You are the stem cell genius. Bella & I are so grateful for your presence in our life,
she autographed on the magazine cover of the Sorbet magazine, a powerful reminder of the transformative impact Prof. Chan has had on the lives of many people suffering from invisible diseases worldwide.
Yolanda expressed strong confidence in Prof. Chan, sharing,
When I met Dr. Chan, read his books, and connected with him in person, I knew I was in the right place. I believe we were destined to walk this journey together.
She described him as “fearless” and “super intelligent,” adding,
I trust my intuition, and I think he’s an extraordinary human being with a kind and generous spirit.
She highlighted Prof. Chan’s unique approach to treatment, which addresses root causes rather than merely symptoms. Hadid, appreciative of every small improvement, stated,
I’m grateful for small gains, and I’m going to keep returning until, hopefully, I can get back to 100%. That’s the goal.
Beyond her treatment, Hadid also discussed her commitment to a healthy lifestyle, emphasizing the importance of eating well.
God planned for us to eat from the earth, and food is medicine. That’s why I left Beverly Hills for a farm in Pennsylvania where I can grow my vegetables, raise cows, and gather our own eggs to eat healthy and organic,
she explained.
Hadid also shared her love for design, drawing inspiration from her travels around the world.
My inspiration comes from experiencing so many different places and cultures. For the last 30 years, I’ve been incorporating those influences into my designs,
she said.
As an advocate for Lyme disease awareness, Hadid’s commitment extends to her children, Bella and Anwar, who also suffer from the disease. “Both my daughter and son have Lyme disease,” she revealed, underlining the importance of finding solutions not only for herself but also for her family.
My dream has always been to find a cure for Lyme disease that is accessible to everyone, not just the wealthy,
Hadid shared. Looking to the future, she expressed a desire to establish a health and wellness clinic to support individuals with chronic conditions, offering hope to those facing similar struggles.
Professor Chan, implements AASI (Autologous Active Specific Immunotherapy) therapy, which combines targeted organ-specific and brain-specific precursor stem cell treatment to address not only Lyme disease but also many other previously untreatable conditions.
Describing his treatment protocol, Prof. Chan explained:
With over 400 different types of stem cells in the human body, including 67 distinct types of brain cells and transcription factors across 52 brain lobes, our treatment must be highly specific.
He continued,
By rebooting the immune system with an individualized vaccine derived from the patient’s own immune DNA – paired with peptides designed to restore damaged tissues and organs, we can address underlying conditions at their core.
Prof. Chan emphasizes that the damaged tissues and organs are restored by the pre-cursor stem cells, using the targeted AASI approach to effectively reset the immune system to overcome autoimmune disorders and related conditions.
Meanwhile, reflecting on her progress, Hadid shared,
After my first treatment six months ago, I regained the stamina to work out and saw a slight incline in my brain function, something I haven’t felt in a really long time.
Her recent return to the center is driven by renewed hope for continued improvement.
Hadid and Prof. Chan’s partnership represents a powerful message for the Lyme disease community, as she envisions establishing a wellness clinic offering comprehensive care for chronic illness sufferers.
He’s not only fearless and intelligent, but he’s also kind and generous to humanity,
Hadid expressed, reflecting on Prof. Chan’s dedication.
Meanwhile, Prof. Chan, who is committed to expanding the potential of regenerative medicine, stated:
We’re going to save all the people suffering from Lyme disease.
Their shared commitment to advancing treatment options and helping others to overcome their invisible illnesses continues to reshape the future of Lyme disease treatment, serving as a beacon of hope for patients worldwide.
